I can’t get this thing to work

Hello, I can’t seem to get my key mander to work I watched the tutorial and I did everything it told me to do but I can’t seem to play with my keyboard and mouse. Also when I turn on my Xbox the controller lights up and then it turns off so i don’t know what to do
