Keeps disconnecting

Everytime I try to connect my k2 app to the k2 it starts syncing then it disconnects why is it doing this and how can I fix it to work

What mobile device are you using, and what OS version is it running?

Also, what is the serial number of your unit so I can check the firmware version that came preinstalled?
