Just to clarify, the sensitivity on the profile will change back to default?

Within every game profile there will be different modes. Do you notice that change when it resets the sensitivity? These can sometimes accidently be switched by hitting F1 - F4.

Try resetting the K2 itself by pressing down the two buttons on top for about 5 seconds and see if the issue continues.
