Xbox Series S KeyMander

Brand new Keymander 2 hooked up correctly to Xbox Series S and when I download the Apex profile on the K2 app and load up the game it will not let me use my keyboard OR mouse. Also cannot use KB or Mouse from the Xbox dashboard.
