Mouse works but when keyboard gets plugged in KEYMANDER shuts off

I have spent hours trying to figure out why tue KEYMANDER shuts down and keep unpairing. I unplugged the keyboard and the problem went away. The KEYMANDER stayed on and the mouse is functioning. Only problem is I cannot plug in the keyboard and play. The KEYMANDER and controller turn off
