Does the keymander work with a type C Xbox one port

I've tried using a C port controller, I tried to use a B port official controller. I tried to use my wired B port off brand controller nothing is working and or connecting.

It does work with the new series s/x Type C controllers. However, you are required to have a charge and sync cable which is not provided.

You can test to see if you have the proper cable by connecting the controller straight to the console using the USB and seeing if the controller turns on by itself without having to press the home button.
