What console are you playing on?

If you only plug in the mouse, does the K2 app register clicks when mapping?

What is the make and model of the mouse and keyboard?

I’m playing on Xbox. I have 1 usb receiver. I have it plugged into the keyboard port. Every is working as it should, however no life within the keyboard. But the mouse does work. I’m new to this and I’m lost

Okay, so the mouse clicks are registered in the app when attempting to map to a button, but the keyboard doesn't?

Is this the same if you move the USB receiver to the mouse port?

I went ahead and grabbed a GKM602R for testing. It seems that the latest firmware may have broken compatibility and have reported it.

I was able to get it to work by downgrading the K2.

Do you happen to have a Windows PC that you could use to perform the downgrade?

If so, I can send you the download link of the firmware version that I have just now confirmed it to be working on.

Okay, go ahead and download the firmware utility HERE and extract the files.

  1. Disconnect everything from the K2.
  2. While holding down the two buttons on top, connect to your PC and keep holding buttons for about 5 more seconds.
  3. After about 5 seconds, run the .exe firmware utility and allow wait for the utility to finish.

Once completed, go ahead to try connecting to the K2 app and try mapping mouse clicks and keyboard keys to see if it registers.
