The K2 app is working for both that model iPhone and iOS.
Here are a few things to try/check on:
- Go to iPhone settings > Keymander 2 > make sure Bluetooth is enabled
- Try re-installing the Keymander 2 app
- Try resetting the K2 by pressing and holding down both buttons on top for about 7 seconds
- Be sure to be pressing the BT button on top of the unit (one dot)

Can you confirm that you are on the correct app?
If you search Keymander 2 on the app store there are two versions.
You want to make sure you download K2 App for KeyMander 2 Adapter
The other version is K2 Mobile Game Dock App. This one is for the KeyMander 2 Mobile model.

Would you say this is now happening after updating the K2?
If so, it could have been a bad update. If you have a PC, we could try to re-install the firmware.

I do believe an update made it stop working and I do have a pc so yes we can try that

Try downloading installing this older version here: https://www.iogear.com/support/dm/download_driver/?drid=12625
Once installed and you connect to the device, preform the update "Over-the-Air" to get you to the latest version.
- Disconnect everything from the K2
- While pressing and holding down the two buttons on top of the K2, connect the USB to your PC and continue holding down the buttons for about 15 more seconds
- Launch the firmware utility and allow to finish updating
