Is there a way to switch to keyboard mode?

It is not possible at this time. It would be a nice feature but there are some issues with the emulation that need to be overcome before we can look at it again.

I personally use the voice to text feature when sending messages and it works well.

I also have my controller right next to me when I’m using my Xbox, so if I need to I can use my controller to type out messages since my muscle memory is so used to it by now.
