Keymander 2 GE1337P2 not working with iPhone IOS

I am attempting to connect the Keymander 2 to my iPhone to play various games on IOS, including Ark, Fortnite and other controller friendly games. I have an Xbox One controller that I have used with these games via Bluetooth. I purchased the Keymander 2 to allow me to spoof Mouse/Keyboard to the Xbox one controller. I followed the instructions given in the manual, downloaded the Keymander 2 app, linked up the Xbox controller to the Keymander, and it does not work. I've tried everything including Bluetoothing in both the controller AND the keymander, and that doesn't work either. Need help, this is very frustrating - it is advertised as so easy, but it is anything but.
