Controller not turning on after force USB
i followed the steps and my controller will not turn on by itself after i force the usb connection. i am also using the micro usb cord that came with the adapter, and i tried a different micro USB cord and still nothing. When i plug it into my xbox it lights up by itself perfectly fine

I have the same problem. My controller will turn on by itself when connected with the xbox but will only vibrate (no light) when connected to K2. I have an Xbox One and the controller is not that old.

There are two common causes for this, the first is a bad micro USB cable not passing data. If you used the cable that came in the box, then your issue is very likely due to the controller not switching to USB communication. Please follow the instructions here to force USB mode.
